The Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is a protocol stack with a focus on wireless environments designed to work optimally with all wireless bearers. However, WAP does not provide any considerations for any of its architectural components (Client, Server or Gateway) to be roaming between network operators and Internet administrative domains. In this study it is experimentally shown that mobile WAP Gateway can be realised with the help of Mobile IP.
