Practically applicable solutions require networked competence. The structuring of our research, based on four concerted activities, allows the TZI to assemble exactly the team of specialists required for each project. This interdisciplinary approach across the boundaries of individual technical disciplines creates the preconditions needed to successfully master ever more complex application problems.
